“Our Partnership in the Gospel”
Pastors and People: Proclaiming the Gospel together!
We will be focusing on the ministry partnership between individuals, pastors, councils and congregations. As LCMC matures, we are finding that the individuality that LCMC offers congregations does not necessarily enhance the building of relationships both internally in our congregations as well as outwardly to our communities we live in without intentional focus on building those relationships. At the Annual Gathering this year we will be looking at ways we can build positive relationships between individuals, councils, pastors and congregations so that we may Glorify God in everything we do.
Pastor Perry Fruhling is the Coordinator for Pastoral Ministries for LCMC. Perry administers the certification process for pastors and seminarians who desire to be rostered with LCMC. Along with developing call committee coaching, he leads workshops for call committees across the country. Perry relates to the Ministry Board which develops leadership events, relates to seminaries and oversees our list of pastors serving in many different capacities. He utilizes his training in conflict resolution to assist congregations and pastors in creating healthy relationships in leadership and congregational life. Perry attended Wartburg College in Waverly IA and attended Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, IA; including a year as exchange student with Augustana Hochschule, in Neuendettelsau, Germany. Perry has served three congregations in Iowa and one in Texas. He brings his experience with congregations of many different sizes to this position, as well as his training, background and passion for the Church of Jesus Christ
