For Congregations: If you have not already joined LCMC, please familiarize yourself with the above documents and contact the LCMC Service Coordinator, Mark VanderTuig at mark@lcmc.net. To join Heartland District, contact Steve Weatherly at sweatherly@cartridgeworldusa.com.
For Pastors: If you have not already joined LCMC, please contact the LCMC Ministry Board Chair first, Dr. Paul Spaulding at paul@thecruxlife.org, inform the Chair of your interest in Heartland District. For those pastors who are already rostered or actively perusing rostering with LCMC, you may then contact Heartland District Coordinator, Steve Weatherly at sweatherly@cartridgeworldusa.com.
The Heartland District Board is announcing a grant available for District churches who operate a food pantry or support a local food pantry. Churches are eligible to apply for a $500 grant. The total grant program is capped at $15,000 (30 grants).
You can request grant funds in two ways:
Mail a request to the Heartland District on your church letterhead. Mail to: Heartland District - LCMC, P.O. Box 117, Beatrice, NE 68310
Send an email request through this website.
Please include the following information in your request:
Your Church will be notified by the District Treasurer in the same way we received your request (i.e. by letter or email) when the grant checks are approved and mailed so that you can expect the funds for timely issue.
